COURSE INTRODUCTION
Fire Safety & Evacuation
Fire may break out at any moment, often unexpectedly. If no adequate action is taken, the fire will spread very quickly.
At the end of this course, you’ll know what to do to keep yourself and other people safe in case fire breaks out.
In this course, you’ll learn
- the basic mechanics of fire and how a fire can be stopped;
- how to pick an effective extinguishing method;
- how to use the 5 most common fire extinguishers.
You’ll also learn
- how to evacuate your workplace safely and quickly.
What you will do in this module
The course is divided into 6 lessons, followed by an assessment.
Each lesson contains a few instruction videos, followed by a practice section that builds and tests your knowledge.
The lessons Using fire extinguishers, The evacuation procedure, and The door procedure also contain demonstration videos of the actions you will learn in that lesson.
Certification
- You will receive your personal Fire Safety & Evacuation certificate if you score at least 80% on all assessments in this course.
- The certificate is valid for 12 months.
